Scholarships and Bursaries to Make your Education More Affordable.

St. Stephen's University provides a limited number of scholarships based on academic merit and potential and bursaries based on financial need.

 

The scholarships are awarded to students who have displayed high academic achievement or potential in fields related to Theology & Culture, Peace & Justice, or Reconciliation Studies. Decisions for these will be announced three weeks before the start of the new semester. Scholarships and bursaries are available only to students who are accepted to and have confirmed their spot in a full master's degree program or certificate program.

FINANCIAL AID APPLICATION

Below is the financial aid application that students need to complete and submit to be considered for a scholarship or bursary. Before completing this application, it is important that students have first applied to their desired program, been accepted into a full master's degree program or certificate program, and have sent their deposit to SSU to hold their spot.

If you're applying for a matching scholarship or bursary, please indicate below which church or organization has agreed to contribute $1,500 towards your tuition. Note: The student will receive the matching scholarship or bursary from SSU only after your organizational contribution has been paid to SSU in full.

Essay and Recommendations:

Please upload an essay below that tells us about your goals for completing your program at SSU and how this scholarship/bursary would help you achieve those goals.

If you are emancipated/living alone, please use the personal section. If you live with parents/guardians, please fill out the parent sections.
